GREAT WORKSHOPS

Check here for teacher-driven workshops which focus on dealing with the variety of problems faced by the beginning teacher. We plan workshops on everything a new teacher faces, from walking down the hall together without "touching," to how to integrate writing into the science classroom.

Through a virtual support community, we will identify problems generated by our members and mentors as well as practical, step by step solutions to the behavioral, organizational, and instructional problems faced by every teacher. With nearly half of the nation's public schools' online, we are connected around the challenges every teacher faces.

Workshops will include:
• Transitions between classes
• Monitoring the hallways
• Disrespect and Who is the Adult?
• Using Film in the Math classroom
• Establishing rules in the VE classroom
• Making that phone call home

and a host of other topics that every beginning teacher faces. These workshops are generated by teachers, administrators, and educational consultants with years of experience to aid the beginning teacher, giving them the tools to face the demands of the profession. .
